Sona College of Technology is a college located in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) of the government of India, NBA accredited and ISO certified, recognized by UGC under Section 2f & 12B of the UGC Act. It gained autonomous status in 2012.

4000 students from India and abroad (Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, Mauritius and the Middle East) attend. It is located on a campus with an area of 39.4 acres (159,000Â m2) with a built up area of 70,000 square metres.
It possesses an Electronic library with 1820 CD-ROMs and 820 video lectures, sports facilities, stadiums, courts, gymnasium, swimming pool, golf, and billiards, and language Lab, Management Information System.
